Love Miracles - Chapter 1

~CHAPTER 1~

A/N: I finally had the motivation to write Love Miracles... ^o^ This chapter will be on how we first met the Generation of Miracles(GOM). It will be written in Ichigo and Rai’s POVs, and of course it’s divided into 2 parts~

Ichigo’s POV

I was playing around with a shuttlecock, tossing it up and catching it repeatedly in the air. I was walking home with my badminton teammates. It was currently evening. I was representing Sakuragaoka Middle School, and today’s opponents were Teiko Middle School. Teiko was well-known for their basketball team, but badminton? Quite okay, I guess.... We were tied with Teiko.

How do I introduce myself? Well, I’m really quiet in class.... like nobody knows what I’m doing or anything. Although I do have one close friend - Shinya Rai... but she’s more into basketball, because she met someone special. It’s probably love at first sight. I sighed. I needed someone beside me.

Due to my dark past, I didn’t want to talk anyone, as I was afraid that they’d questioned my past. But this one moment changed my thinking.

A powerful wind blew, blowing my shuttlecock away onto a patch of grass near a basketball court. “I’ll catch up with you guys later!” I shouted, but with a low voice, so my other teammates didn’t hear it. Not like it matters anyway. I left the group and ran to the direction of the shuttlecock. I picked it up, blowing gently to clear the grass sticking on it.

Somehow, I could feel a powerful object flying towards me. Instinctively, I tried to grab it. I catched it perfectly, right in front of my chest with my hands. Thank god the shuttlecock was still in my hands, but...

A basketball is in my hands?! What the hell?!

“Ano..! Sumimasen!!” a boy with light blue hair called out to me, waving his hands. He was probably the same height as me. Maybe the same age too. I eyed his clothes. Teiko... Basketball?

I threw the ball to him. “Arigatou,” he thanked. I also noticed another taller boy with dark blue hair and tanned skin. They’re probably training....

“Dou itashimashite,” I replied. Then I walked away. But something was different his eyes... emptiness? I walked home alone, thinking incessantly about his eyes.

Back at home, I put my bag on the sofa as I opened a cup of ramen. I poured hot water into the cup, and when it was ready, I started to eat it. Out of curiosity, I picked up a random magazine which was about to drop out of a cupboard because it was about to burst with packed stuff. I decided to read it while eating ramen.

I flipped it instantly to the Anime & Manga section. Well, you see, I’m an otaku! I have anime goods on display in my house, but not lots of people get to see it anyway. You know what I mean.

After the last page of the Anime & Manga section, it was the Sports section. I also looked through a little, since I’m a badminton player. Did I also mention I kind of know how to play the piano?

Then something caught my eye. It was... it was THE BOY WITH LIGHT BLUE HAIR!!! He was in a picture with the other rainbow-coloured hair boys. Seriously.. rainbow? I scanned the page to look for his name. But... he wasn’t interviewed? It had the other rainbow guys, but not him?! This is so unfair. How could they have missed him?

But I managed to get his name anyway. One of the rainbow guys mentioned his name.... Kuroko Tetsuya. Eh.. nice name. But I felt myself attached to him, and I didn’t know why.

My best move was to find Rai-chan and tell her about this. She might know these stuff....

Rai’s POV

It was Saturday morning when my phone vibrated. I was in the middle of eating my breakfast. A text message? From who?

Right, I forgot to mention. I’m interested in basketball. Although I’m bad at it... I’d like to meet the GOM for once. Later, I’m going to Teiko Middle School Festival with Ichigo-chan, because I just wanted to meet them. I had a feeling I was going to meet someone special.

30 minutes later, we met up at the nearby train station. Luckily, the trip took only 10 minutes. We alighted at a station and walked to Teiko.

“THIS... THIS IS SO... BEAUTIFULLLL!!!” Both of us squealed in excitement upon seeing the beautiful arc decorated with flowers and balloons at the entrance. We were literally screaming in excitement when we saw the stuff inside. Other people might’ve thought that were weird, but I don’t care anyway. The task of finding the GOM gradually left my mind.

We were walking in the corridors, enjoying takoyaki and the decorations put up by the students from Teiko.

“It’s nicely done,” Ichigo-chan commented.

“Sou desu ne...” I agreed.

Suddenly, someone sped past us. It was a girl from Teiko. She had long yellow hair in twin tails. I felt that I’d meet her again, but I brushed it off. We decided to go to the ground floor. Then I saw a familiar group of boys.

“T-THE KISEKI NO SEDAI!!” I screamed, pointing towards a booth which was selling honey-coated lollipops. I grabbed Ichigo-chan’s hand and sprinted towards it.

“W-wait!” Ichigo tried to protest, but she was already dragged by me.

We stopped in front of the booth, gasping for air.

A yellow(blonde) haired-guy was taking out a failed lollipop. “Ah.. I failed again...”

A red haired-guy remarked, “Ryouta. This is the 100th time you’ve failed. One more time and you’re gonna practice basketball until you vomit later.”

“Waah~! Akashicchi you’re so mean~!” The yellow-haired guy cried.

I felt like I needed to stand up for the yellow-haired guy. “Kora, it’s not like this is the 1000th time he failed! Stop bullying him!” I was instantly shot right in the kokoro.

“Haah?” The red-haired guy gave a death glare to both of us. “Who are you to lecture me on this?”

The yellow-haired guy was giving us a run-now-if-you-value-your-life look. But I felt that I found someone special. His beautiful blonde hair seemed to reflect the sunlight, making it shiny.

Ichigo-chan decided to break the tension. “These... lollipops.. are so yummy...” She was drooling like mad. An aura of sparkles surrounded her. Have I ever mentioned that she LOVES sweets? Like the purple-haired guy from the GOM.

“Here~ I’ll give you this for free~” The purple-haired guy handed her a lollipop.

“Arigatou~” she thanked, and instantly put it inside her mouth, savouring the sweetness. “THIS.. IS.. HEAVEN!!!”

“You’re lucky,” the green-haired guy commented, fixing his black frame glasses. “Murasakibara makes the best lollipops.”

We were a little confused, so they introduced themselves to us. They even said that there was another female member called Momoi Satsuki who were their manager.

“Ano... but where’s Kuroko Tetsuya-senpai?” Ichigo-chan asked.

Kise looked at Midorima, Midorima looked at Murasakibara, and Murasakibara looked at Aomine. He sighed.

“Argh, Tetsu wasn’t here in the morning,” Aomine answered. “We couldn’t find him.”

“Ah.. souka..” Ichigo-chan’s face had a glint of disappointment. Her mood fell.

Apart from that, I fell in love with first sight with Kise.

But 2 years later, we met in Akihabara again.... the GOM didn’t seem to recognise us. That’s of course... it’s been 2 years.

Love, Music and Otaku - Chapter 19

~CHAPTER 19~

“Our class is deciding to do a Vocaloid concert for the school festival, anyone wants to go for the Kagamine twins?” The class representative, Suzuko Harumi, asked.

“I’d recommend Oreki-kun and Kii!” Satoshi immediately suggested.

“Wait, what?!!” Kii said, surprised, standing up. “Why am I doing this?!”

“I could ask the same thing!” Oreki said, also standing up..

“You’re perfect,” Satoshi gave a brief explanation. Both Kii and Oreki had to sit down flushed with embarrassment and a little anger.

“Okay, so Kii-san and Oreki-san will do the Kagamine twins,” Harumi said. “You’ll have to decide the songs for yourself. Next....”

Kii, Oreki and Satoshi’s class was doing a vocaloid concert for the school festival this year, and they were deciding who to cosplay and what song to perform.

And of course, Kii and Oreki weren’t happy about being the Kagamine twins. Not because they didn’t want to cosplay, but because they had to perform with only the 2 of them on stage without instruments. And she can’t feel secure without her electric guitar.

After school, they went to the music room to meet up with the kouhais.

“Change of plans,” Kii suddenly said.

“Huh..? Why?” Ichigo and Rai asked.

“I just got myself with Kazuto-kun in a Vocaloid concert for my class due to that baka Satoshi-kun,” Kii explained, staring daggers at Satoshi. If looks could kill, he’d had been dead by then. Satoshi sweatdropped in fear.

“Which means, these few weeks we’ll be really busy practicing,” Oreki explained more clearly.

“It’s for the school festival, huh...” Rai thought aloud.

“I want to see it~!!!” Ichigo squealed in delight.

“Eh?! Me too!” Rai cheered.

“No, we 3 will look after the music room,” Satoshi said.

“Awww,” Ichigo and Rai said in disappointment.

It was finally the day of the cake competition and all the participating clubs went to prepare.

“Ganbatte kudasai!” Ichigo and Rai cheered, smiling.

“Arigatou,” Oreki and Satoshi thanked, while Kii merely walked past them. Oreki noticed that she was acting rather cold of lately.

“Kii-chan, I want to ask you again... why do you want to win this competition so badly?” Oreki asked, in a serious mode.

“Like I said, you don’t need to know,” Kii answered, annoyed, and looking away. “You’ll find out soon, anyway.”

The cake competition proceeded smoothly, with the LMC winning by 1 point, and they managed to advertise their nendoroids. But Oreki sensed something wasn’t quite right with Kii.

The LMC rested in the music room, a little happy that they won the competition.

“I’m going to the cooking room now to make something,” Kii said, as she picked up her things, about to step out of the door. “Also, you don’t need to wait for me, I’ll come back late.” Then she left.

“Eh... Baki’s imouto has been acting strange lately,” Rai noticed.

“Really?” Ichigo asked.

“Finally someone other than me has realised that!” Oreki sighed in relief.

“Can you explain more?” Satoshi asked.

“Well.. I guess I could....” Oreki agreed as he relayed his flashback to the other e LMC members. “I think it’s because of this she’s been acting weird lately.”

“Ah.. I see..” Ichigo understood.

“I think we have to leave Kii alone for a while,” Satoshi suggested.

“I agree.”

“Then, let’s get down to practice now! I hope our nendoroids will sell out on the school festival!” Rai said cheerfully, trying to lift the mood.

The LMC went to practice. Meanwhile, Kii was in the cooking room, experimenting a chocolate.

A few hours has passed and it was night. Kii was still experimenting. I can’t think of what to add anymore.... I think I’m going to ask someone..

“I think that what’s important are the feelings inside.”  Kii stared into the words on her phone. Why did I forget this?!! This is the most important thing is the feelings!

~Flashback - when Kii and Oreki first met at the Teiko School Festival~

“Ah.. I want that honey-coated lollipop so badly...” Kii said, pointing to the GOM’s booth which were selling honey-coated lollipops. “But I spent all of my money today on lots of stuff...”

“Eh..? Isn’t that your brother?” Oreki asked, surprised, looking at Kise. “You know, you could ask him to give it to you for free.”

“Whether we’re siblings or not, I still have to pay for it,” Kii said, standing strong on her stand.

“Argh, fine,” Oreki gave in. “But why are they selling honey-coated lollipops...?”

“I asked Kise-niichan to do it,” Kii gave a smirk. “Besides, it’s my favourite snack.”

Eh.... I can imagine Senpai having a hard time already.... Oreki sweatdropped. He went and bought one for Kii, much to Kise’s surprise.

“Here,” Oreki said, handing her the lollipop. Her eyes immediately lit up and she put it into her mouth, savouring the taste. “Amaaaaiii!! <3” (Note: Amai = sweet/nice)

“You still have to pay me back though,” Oreki reminded, ruining the sweet moment.

“Wakatta, wakatta yo!” Kii replied. But she never got to return the money, since he transferred the very next day.

~End of Flashback~

Now I just have to perfect this, and then I can go home to sleep! Kii cheered internally. She yawned loudly, with eyes about to close. She forced her eyes to stay wide awake.

(Author’s Note: Omg, at this rate the last chapter is gonna be Chapter 21…. owo So, either Chapter 20 or 21 will be the last one! ^_^)
