~one year after Nadeshiko left~
She walked out of the airport. “So...I’ve come back...”
Walking inside the principal’s room, she saw Tsukasa.
“Welcome back, Nadeshiko-san,” Tsukasa greeted.
Nadeshiko asked, “Tsukasa-sensei, why did you call me here?”
“I want you...to be the Joker for the Guardians. You do have four Shugo Chara eggs, don’t you?”
“Eh??!! But...only two are hatched. The other two are still an egg.”
Tsukasa said, “Meet with the Guardians during lunch today with me. I will explain to them.”
During the break, Nadeshiko didn’t go to the toilet that her, Amu and Yaya usually went. Instead, she went to the Royal Garden.
Amu said, “It’s been one year...but Nadeshiko hasn’t come back.”
Yaya comforted, “She will come back. Don’t worry.”
Nadeshiko opened the door. Flowers surrounded her. The Guardians saw her.
Tadase asked, “Who are you?:
Nadeshiko answered, “Strange. Tsukasa-sensei asked me to be here. So where’s he?”
Tsukasa-sensei? Does he know about this girl?
Tsukasa came in. Nadeshiko turned around.
“Tsukasa-sensei!” they shouted.
“Ah...seems that our dear Nadeshiko-san came too early,” Tsukasa explained. “Well, this girl went to Europe for one year. She practices Japanese dancing. And, she’s the girl who has four Shugo Chara eggs.”
Everyone was shocked. “But only two are hatched,” Nadeshiko explained.
“Nadeshiko-san will be joining you as the Joker’s chair. It’s a special chair only for her.”
Does that mean...she can Chara Nari?!
“Yes, I can Chara Nari,” Nadeshiko said softly.
Tadase handed the Humpty Lock to Nadeshiko and told her, “This is yours now. Please help us purify the X-Eggs!”
Nadeshiko blushed. Ouji?[Prince?] “Umm...okay..” she agreed. Then she wore the Royal Cape, only available to the Guardians. Then everyone did their introductions. (Character Profiles)

A cat-like boy came in. Nadeshiko blushed again. He’s...handsome..
“Ah, he’s my brother, Tsukiyomi Ikuto,” Utau explained. “Even though he’s in secondary school, he still visits us often.” He has a Shugo Chara too!
Tsukasa stepped forward with two new teachers. “Everyone, they will be our two new teachers in our school. And they can see Shugo Charas. (Ordinary people can’t see Shugo Charas. Only those who own Shugo Charas can see them.) Welcome Nikaidou-sensei and Sanjou-sensei!”
Sanjou-sensei? Is she Kairi’s older sister?
“Good to see you guys!” Nikaidou said with a smile.
“Good to see you all too. AND DON’T EVER MISBEHAVE IN MY CLASS!!!!!!! By the way, Kairi is my younger brother.”
Everyone looked at Kairi in shock. “Onee-san! Please don’t reveal our relationship!” Kairi insisted.
Everyone giggled. Even Nadeshiko. “Okay, okay! We’ll keep that as a secret.”
Nadeshiko felt the warmth of friendship again...after that day. She didn’t want to be friendly again. After Amu and Yaya knew that Nadeshiko left. She felt...hatred. Hatred against Amu and Yaya. And here she was. She came back because of revenge. Hatred had somehow took over her.
“Nadeshiko? Na-de-shi-kooo!!!!!!” Utau shouted in front of Nadeshiko.
“Ahh, sorry, I must’ve been deep in thought,” Nadeshiko said. “Well, I’m leaving..it’s boring here anyway.”
“What’s with that arrogant attitude?!!!” Rima shouted in anger.
“Calm down Rima...” Tadase said.
Nadeshiko walked out of the Royal Garden. She knew that she would bump into Amu and Yaya. But, the chances are low, right? Anyway, she already knew what to do if she bumped into them.
Coincidentally, Nadeshiko saw Amu and Yaya.
All of them were shocked. “Nadeshiko...?!” Amu and Yaya shouted. “That path is towards the Royal Garden...And you are wearing the Royal Cape...Don’t tell me...?!”
“Who cares?!” Nadeshiko snapped. “Besides, you guys are not a Guardian. So why should I tell you?”
Amu and Yaya was in shock. Did Nadeshiko change after her trip from Europe?! Did she?!
“And, we’re not best friends now. We’re enemies now,” Nadeshiko said with an evil smile. Then she continued walking.
“There’s no doubt that...Nadeshiko’s changed!!!” Amu shouted. They were in tears.
