Amu was still being remembered of that day. That day when Nadeshiko left. And how did she fly like that? This is amazing. Humans can’t fly! Yaya came over.
“Hey, hey, Amu. I know you’re sad. I am sad too. If only we’d shown more care and concern for Nadeshiko,” Yaya said to comfort Amu. “Besides, there is a new principal. His name is Tsukasa! And he says that a new club will replace the prefects.”
Amu was surprised. “Really?!”
But Yaya said, “Don’t get too excited. There are only five places in the new club. We have to go through just ONE selection round. Weird?”
Amu replied, “Yes, it’s weird.. Who’d select people in only just ONE round?!”
The new principal came to school the next day for his first day in school. He announced, “The name of the new club is........Guardians! These are the people who will protect the students from harm. And, any assemblies will be held by the leader of the Guardians.”
The whole school, “EHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!!!!!!!!!! So much change?!”
“And this year I’ll decide the member of Guardians. There will not be any selection rounds too. They are...” Tsukasa said. “King’s chair, Hotori Tadase. Queen’s chair, Mashiro Rima. Jack’s chair, Sanjou Kairi. Ace’s chair, Hoshina Utau.”
Yaya was disappointed. “Ehh? Why not me.”
Amu found out something about the Guardians. “As expected, they’re a special club. I found out that we need something called Shugo Chara to be selected by the Guardians to join them!”
The members of the Guardians arrived at the newly-built Royal Garden. Tsukasa was there, waiting for them.
“So, you all have Shugo Charas,” Tsukasa greeted. “This is why you were selected.”
Everyone was surprised.
“Let me explain.” Tsukasa cleared his throat. “There are X-Eggs(pronounced as Batsu Tama in Japanese. Batsu = Punishment and Tama = Egg. Some call it Punishment Eggs but most Shugo Chara fans call it X-Eggs.) in the world. These eggs appear when someone is feeling depressed. And you need to purify them to turn them back to normal! However, you also must think about what to say to the X-Egg. Put yourself into the victim’s shoes and feel it. By the way, if an X-Egg isn’t purified soon, the egg will crack and inside will be a X-Chara. Things will get more serious by then.”
“So, can anyone Chara Nari(Character Transformation) at the moment?”
