~CHAPTER 21~
“So, are you ready, ojou-sama?” Oreki asked, leaning against a wall with his arms folded at the backstage. Both Kii and Oreki were ready for their vocaloid performance in their Kagamine twins cosplay costumes.
“Stop calling me ojou-sama!!!!” Kii shouted, punching Oreki in the face, making him lose his balance and fall.
“But you act like one!”
“Urusai, urusai, urusaaai!!” Kii pouted.
“Ano...! The Kagamine twins, you’re up next!”
“Let’s get going,” Kii said, walking towards the stage with Oreki.
“Minna-san.. today our song is..” Kii announced, taking a deep breath. “Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil.”
The audience were cheering for a while before they quieted down.

(Timeskip to their band performance) “Konnichiwa minna-san! We’re Houkago Kiseki!” Kii announced cheerfully.
“And we’re here to bring more anime song covers!” Oreki said.
“Houkago Kiseki... starrrttt!!”

“Arigatou minna-san!” Kii thanked, with everyone bowing. Then they left the stage.
The LMC packed up their things before going to the music room. They sat down around the table, feeling a little nostalgic.
“I don’t want the school year to end so soon...” Kii said.
“Me too..” Ichigo agreed.
“We can’t see you guys anymore,” Rai said.
“Eh.. well.. don’t be sad, I’m sure next year you’ll get another fantastic new members,” Oreki tried to console them.
“But seriously.... damn it.... these sad and sappy stuff are almost making me cry,” Satoshi said.
There was an awkward silence as everyone bit their lips to stop them from crying.
“Ah..! I almost forgot, Hime-senpai and Yuka-senpai is coming here for the last time to perform with us,” Kii remembered. She checked the time. “They should arrive here now..”
“Eh..?” Ichigo and Rai were surprised. Oreki and Satoshi also remembered something.
“Konnichiwa!” Kuroyukihime and Yuka greeted, opening the door.
“Senpaitachi!!” Everyone called out.
“This is our last performance,” Yuka said, smiling. “Ichigo-san, Rai-san, please enjoy it.”
Kii, Oreki, Satoshi, Kuroyukihime and Yuka got ready.
“The song is... Tenshi ni Fureta yo!(K-ON)”

When the song ended, Ichigo and Rai were on the verge of tears. The lyrics had full meaning to it and they were experiencing it right now.
“A-Arigatou...” Ichigo thanked, wiping the tears away.
“This.. was the best performance I’ve ever seen!” Rai complimented.
“Ano, Senpai,” Oreki asked Kuroyukihime and Yuka. “I have a party this Sunday at my house, do you want to come?”
“Hmm... I’ll go!” Kuroyukihime agreed. “With Yuka-chan!” She put her shoulders on Yuka, bringing her close to herself.
“A-ah! Hime-san!” Yuka blushed a little. “W-Well... I think I can come too...”
(Timeskip, while the whole LMC, including Kuroyukihime and Yuka is walking home together)
“Ah!!” Kii suddenly shouted, pointing to a candy store. “T-that... limited edition... lollipop..”
“KYAAAA!!! <3” Ichigo shouted. “SWEEEETSSSSSSS!! <3” Everyone sweatdropped.
“Kazuto-kun, you’re treating everyone a lollipop!” Kii immediately decided.
“EHH?!! WHY ME?!” Oreki shouted in shock.
“Because I say so!!” Kii shot back.
“Why don’t we play a game of jan-gen-pon?” Kuroyukihime asked. (Note: Jan-gen-pon means scissors-paper-stone.)
That’s so childish.... Everyone thought.
“E-Eh..?” Kuroyukihime said, surprised.
“Let’s see who has the lowest SAO Level then!” Yuka suggested.
“Ah!! That’s a good idea!” Rai agreed.
Everyone opened up their profiles to let each other see. But the lowest... Satoshi and Yuka had the same levels. There was a silence.
“Sigh, let’s go home instead,” Ichigo gave up. Everyone except for Kii agreed with her and proceeded to the direction of their houses.
Kii pouted. That leaves me no choice then! “I’ll catch up with you guys later~!” She went into the store.
(Timeskip: Later that night... Kii is in Oreki’s house.) “Eh... so you finally bought it with your brother’s hologram credit card...” Oreki sweatdropped.
“Ah, but it was worth it,” Kii gave a smirk. “You’ll never know the heavenly taste of that lollipop.”
“Hai, hai,” he sighed. At least I wasn’t the one who paid for that.
(Timeskip to Sunday)
Oreki’s POV
The doorbell rang 10 minutes earlier than the actual time the whole LMC decided to meet. Who was it? I shouted “Coming!” as I ran to the door, and opening it.
“K-Kii-chan?!” I was shocked. Why would she come 10 minutes early? She was wearing a scarf.... oh wait.. It’s a little cold outside...
“Let me in,” Kii said as she stepped into my house. But she missed her step and lost her balance.”Wha--” I pulled her scarf instinctively. But it made matters worse. Okay, I admit it’s the wrong decision. I never knew that by pulling her scarf would strangle her. I immediately let go after seeing Kii coughing and gasping for air a little. Luckily, she was able to balance herself well and stood up.
“KAZUTO-KUN!! YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!!” Kii shouted.
“OKAY I ADMIT IT’S MY FAULT!!” I shouted back, feeling a little guilty and apologetic. “You can come in now!!”
Kii still hasn’t calmed down yet, but when she came inside, she immediately went to the veranda of my house. Inko-chan was trying to practicing to say its name again, so it was kinda inappropriate.. I decided to follow her, and we were leaning against the railing, enjoying the soft breeze that was a little cold.
“Nee.. Kazuto-kun..” Kii asked. “Here’s your chocolate.”
I was a little shocked. I took the chocolate that she handed me. And that amount of money... wait.. it looks familiar.
“I haven’t returned you the money for the honey-coated lollipop that was sold in Teiko Middle School, remember?”
“Ah.. sou..”
“...”
I could sense Kii was waiting for something. Just then, I remembered something.
Flashback
“Ano...!! If this is what you want... I’ll have my answer ready by end of next week!!” I shouted to her.
Kii stopped for a moment before replying, “I see.” Then she continued walking.
End of Flashback
I knew what she wanted now. “Ano.. my answer is...”
Kii’s eyes lit up. “Eh.. I surprised you knew what I wanted...”
“My answer is...” I hesitated a little, but I lost the confidence. I tried again.
“It’s...”
“In-Inko-chan!!” Inko-chan squawked, ruining the moment.
“AHHH!! INKO-CHAN IS FINALLY ABLE TO SAY HIS OWN NAME!!” I shouted happily.
Kii was surprised too. “We have a new achievement unlocked!!!”
Both of them happily ran to the cage, feeding Inko-chan for rewarding him.
10 minutes had passed in a short time and the doorbell rang.
“Hai, coming!” I ran to the door and opened it. “Minna! Come in!”
Kuroyukihime and others noticed Kii. “Why is Kii-chan earlier than us...?”
We knew the answer and smiled at each other.
“Hai, hai, we get it,” Kuroyukihime understood.
“All’s well that ends well,” Satoshi said.
“I have a feeling this will be the best party ever,” Ichigo said.
“We’re all gonna have fun!” Rai cheered.
“I-I’m so glad Kii-san and Oreki-kun are a couple now,” Yuka said, blushing a little.
“Y-Yuka-senpai!! We’re not a couple!” Kii pouted and blushed.
Everyone laughed. “Now, let’s get this party started!"
