Love, Music & Otaku -- REMAKE!!
A/N: This is a remake of Love, Music & Otaku... The only difference is that they’re in Teiko Junior High and some character changes. And this time I’ll add comedy in! >w<
(And so I guess this is the opening song? :v)

Chapter 1.1 - Starting with a crash!
I want to kill titans... I’ll form a club to kill titans... Ohmigod, that’s gonna be so fun! But who should I recruit? They need to be good at fighting--
Thump! Kii slumped onto the fall with a loud thud. It dawned on her that it was actually a dream on “killing titans”. Dreary-eyed, she rubbed her eyes and turned to her closet. She stared at her Teiko Junior High school uniform.
It’s the start of Junior High, huh…. Then Kii turned to her alarm clock. A glance at it sent shudders down her spine.
It’s *8 *in the morning *ALREADY*!! Why the heck didn’t Kise-niichan wake me up?!!! I’m going to kill him for this!!!
~”5 minutes of dressing up and etc.” Mr Seal reports. “Oh hello there, my name is Mr Seal, and I’m the official reporter of this fanfic. I’ll be reporting the timeskips and current situation, so I hope we’ll be able to get along well --” “Let’s just hurry and get on with the main story!!” Kii screamed in exasperation, pushing away Mr Seal.~
Kii dashed down the staircase, still fixing her ribbons and tresses. “Geez--! Kise-niichan, you should’ve woken me up!”
“I did, but you didn’t hear it! You stayed up late yesterday watching anime again, right?” Kise replied, munching on his toast which was his breakfast. “Hurry before we run out of your favourite jam!”
“I know--”
Oops. Kii’s “frictionless” socks slipped and lost contact of the ground. She felt her body being propelled forward straight to the dining table where Kise and their elder sister was!
“Wait-- Don’t--!” Kise widened his eyes in shock, but it was too late.
“AHHHH---!!” Kii shrieked, crashing towards Kise, causing his toast to slip out of his fingers and fall onto a sofa together with her.
“Why am I in this state together with you?!” Kise cried out for help.
“Get...off..me..! I can’t..breathe!!”
“Wha-- Sorry!”
“You two are always a pain in the neck in the morning,” Their elder sister, Kisha, shook her head teasingly.
Chapter 1.2 - As if I’d join a sports club! But still, which club should I join?
~”And so the siblings got to school on time... Or rather, five minutes before the school bell rang...” Mr Seal reports, sweatdropping.~
“Right, what club are you gonna join, Kiicchi?” Kise asked, walking around the club recruitment area with Kii, enjoying the various club booths and the intricate decorations. “Starting from this year I’m gonna join the basketball club!”
“Mm..... There’s nothing that catches my attention here,” Kii remarked. Noticing that Kise opened his mouth, before he could even say anything, she cut him off. “Anndd~ don’t even think of trying to get me into the basketball club too!”
“Damn, how did you know what I was going to say?”
“Who do you think I am?”
All of a sudden, the school bell rang shrilly, announcing the start of morning classes.
“Wait, five minutes were *THAT* short?!!”
Chapter 1.3 - Forget about clubs, let’s get to making friends first!
~”Morning classes have started, let’s look at the situation in Kii’s class~” Mr Seal reports, turning the camera to Kii’s classroom.~
Classroom blackboard:
1) Attendance Taking
2) Self-Introduction
3) Classes Start
Wow... This is boring.. Even with the self-introduction... Kii thought, flipping through her school handbook for the list of clubs. She contemplated the manga club, but decided to leave that for the last resort. At least I’m sitting beside the window, where anime characters are *always* situated at.
A seemingly boring boy stood up. He had emerald green eyes and chocolate-brown hair. For some reason, Kii was intrigued by him. “I’m Oreki Kazuto, I love MMOPRGs, animes and mangas. Pleased to work with you.”
An electricity bolt immediately shot through Kii’s mind. She stiffened up. Anime? Manga?! Is he an otaku too?! Yay~!! Finally I have someone to talk to!
~”It is currently lunchtime,” Mr Seal reports as he slurps on a cup of noodles.”~
Well.... He said his name’s Oreki Kazuto-kun, right? Kii stared at Oreki, but the male classmates surrounding him made it hard for her to approach him. I guess I’ll try when it’s after school.
~”It’s after school now, and an unexpected thing happened!” Mr Seal reports with a surprised look.~
“Ehhhhhhhhhh--?!!” Kii whined with an exasperated look. She stared at Kise’s handout. “Why do I have to hand it in for you?!”
“Sorry, but I have some important matters to handle, so pleaseeeeee~?” Imaginary puppy ears and tail sprung out of Kise. Puppy mode: ON!
(In normal anime scenes it should be the other way round.) “... Ugh, fine...” Kii turned around and walk away with a glum face, unable to execute what she had intended to do. I guess I’ll talk to Oreki-kun tomorrow. There are 365 days in a year, right? So I’m sure there are a lot of chances!
Chapter 1.4 - Can’t get my mind off him...
~”It’s currently nighttime~” Mr Seal reports as he proceeds to get his pyjamas~
Kii hugged her pillow in bed, thinking about what had happened today. “But still... Even if I talked to him about anime... I will still have this problem of which-club-should-I-join.” She grabbed her student handbook and flipped through it. Then, she came upon a page that said: You can form your own club! We’ll accept *anything*!
“Right! I can form a club with Oreki-kun! But then... What would we do in that club? Reading manga? Watching anime?” Kii pondered, then stared at her well-preserved electric guitar hiding in the corner of her room.
“...I think I’ve got an idea!”
